Painted art deco cupboard

Basement Cabinets
I'm going to guess that these cabinets were part of the original kitchen in our 1920 farm house.

Look at these cool chrome handles!

Original tin breadbox.

Good place to store candles.

BEFORE, yellowed paint and rusty handles.

AFTER, white paint and refreshed handles. We still have to paint the floor around this cabinet.

Basement toy storage

We are still focusing on the basement. Today, I am designing a bookcase bench to store toys. It will be made of 2x4's and industrial looking. Similar ones have been on sale for $1,000! That's a crazy price especially for toy storage in a roughly finished basement.

Basement ceiling

I am painting our basement dropped ceiling today. Took them down and vaccuumed them. I'm using a 3/4 inch nap roller cover. I'm painting them with ceiling paint that looks lavendar and dries to a flat white.
